QuizForge is a product of Hikari Grove Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Hikari Grove," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the quizforge.ca website, the QuizForge apps and related services. 2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with QuizForge, including quizzes taken, scores, study guide usage, flashcard review patterns, and feature usage. This data is used to personalize your experience and improve our service.

Payment Information: When you subscribe, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We retain your Stripe customer ID and transaction records (plan type, dates, amounts) for account management.

Device & Technical Data: We collect your IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser type, and device information through standard web server logs.

User-Generated Content: If you use the Custom Quiz Creator to upload study materials, we process that content to generate quizzes. Uploaded materials are used solely for quiz generation and are not shared with other users.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. AI & Data Processing

QuizForge uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions, study guides, and flashcards. When you take a quiz, your performance data (which questions you got right or wrong) is used to generate personalized study guides and calibrate question difficulty. This processing happens in real-time and is essential to the service.

We use third-party AI providers to power question generation. Your quiz prompts and subject selections are sent to these providers for processing. These providers do not retain your personal data and are bound by their own privacy and data processing agreements.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• AI Service Providers — for quiz and study content generation (no personal identifiers are shared, only subject/topic context)
• Email Service Providers — for sending transactional and optional study reminder emails
• Law Enforcement — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and study progress for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement. Feedback you send through the in-app feedback form is kept after account deletion, with your name and email removed.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), rate limiting, input sanitization, and secure database access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

QuizForge is designed for students of all ages, including high school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
